Travel Photography : A Basic Sketch.

New York City.

I am 18 years old and like any other person who is my age I want to explore the world. How does a girl from a middle-class family such as I do that? Travelling can be expensive so I figured Travel Photography might be an
option.

I am still in the process of learning and haven’t taken it up as a profession but I think I might someday. What more could you ask for when you can travel and get paid for it? I know it is easier said than done. So, as obvious as it seems my blogs will be about Travel Photography/ Videography.

Seeing new places, experiencing a variety of cultures and try out all the exotic cuisines from around the world will be an amazing experience. As the saying goes “Travelling leaves you speechless and then turns you into a story teller”.

Photograph worth 4.3 Million dollars.

Did you know the highest anyone has ever paid for a photograph is 4.3 Million dollars? It was paid for a picture taken by Andreas Gursky who is known for landscape photography. I’m not saying I can make a million dollars by being a travel photographer but shoot for the moon and you might land among the stars, right?

Honestly, I don’t believe that you need expensive   gears to take good pictures. At least to an extent you   don’t. As a beginner I think the first thing one should   focus on is getting the idea right. The way you can   make something creative out of every shot-that’s   what matters. You may not be able to capture breath-   taking photos in the start for obvious reasons but   that’s how we learn. Isn’t it?

Take that camera. Go out that door. Trust the process   and repeat until you get that one “Perfect shot”.

Stay tuned for more content.
