In one of my previous posts I had mentioned about how travel photography is made up of different forms of photography. I feel it is the best genre to explore, because you have so many options to choose from. When you visit a place, it is not just the landscape that you capture. As a travel photographer, we try to capture every single aspect of that place. By doing so, we can give our audience a feeling of actually seeing the place without visiting it and moreover we can provide them with our own perspectives of the world.
I will quickly run you through some of the genres of
photography that often gets involved in Travel photography.
And the list can go on and on. This is one of the reasons I
love Travel photography in particular. It is limitless and gives you immense
freedom to explore your ideas and thoughts. Of course, it has some ground rules
such as knowing your equipment, performing adequate researches etcetera but in
terms of the tremendous amount of diversification and variation in the
photographs you shoot, it is something which none of the other genres support
when compared.

Wildlife photography is something which is extensively praised all around the world due to the time and effort that it takes to capture wildlife in its natural habitat. As a travel photographer you can go on to realize that there are millions of different species, some not even known to humankind. I feel that being close to wildlife can bring you close to nature but sometimes even to yourself. Moving on to landscape photography, which is also something that does the same. Beautiful landscapes often urge the wanderer inside us to travel a bit more. Sometimes it has an amazing influence even on people who are not photographers.

Therefore, as beginners I would say explore to the maximum
when you take up Travel photography because if you ask me, I would say this is
the best of its kind.
Remember! Trust the process until you get that one “Perfect
shot”.
